Can't open the GAME

I've played this game 4 months ago and I wanted to try it again,but it won't open.
When I start the game,steam shows me that I'm in game but after 5 seconds on steam he shows that I'm online without playing any game.
BTW I'm on Windows 10

How are you opening the game? Steam launcher or shortcut?

Steam launcher

You might've tampered with your files.

Go to your steam library.
Right click on BTD Battles, click on properties.
Click on update, click on "verify intergrity" and it should finish the job for you.

I have the same problem, steam shows that I am playing, but after 5 seconds only show that i am online, I already tried to reinstal but didn't work. (sorry for the bad english I am brazilian)

I have the same problem since today, whenever I try to launch the game it just keeps showing the steam launching window but doesn't launch and just closes
