Certin tracks depending on if your on left or right side has more area to place farms then the other one.
For example Pumpkin Patch on the left side has a lot more area to place farms down, then the right side.
It might be possible to place there, can't remember right now in the Castle track maybe something new put in the update?

You've never seen someone put it there... But it's possible... And it is true on mobile resolution higher you can build more, because think of this: If there are is a pixel obstacle that doesn't block a farm, on a lower resolution that pixel will be a full obstacle because it's only one pixel, and the bigger pixel will block it.
