Try this cause this happened to me too.
I found the solution and steps are copied here. Hope this helps!
1. Navigate to the following folder:
<Steam Directory>\steamapps\common\Paladins\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat\Launcher
2. Edit the Settings64.json (You will need a text editing software like Notepad for this task)
3. Change 'Win64\\Paladins.exe' to 'Win32\\Paladins.exe'
4. Save the file and attempt to launch the game.

Modify the graphic settings
Maybe it was running on CPU's Integrated Graphic.
Check if your GPU driver runs properly.
In my case, after changing the json value to "Win32\\Paladins.exe", I manually clean install NVIDIA latest driver for my graphic card from the website. Then, it works fine.
(Not only Paladins was broken, my Graphic Card too bruh)
may i know how you manually install Nvidia?, my poopo brain couldnt figure it out
