Help me because I want to play
It's not working anymore. Before you only needed to unlink your steam account on your Hi-Rez account manager, then launch the the game through steam. This solution was a temporary solution.
I made ticket about this issue about a month ago and CS told me Hi-Rez was working on a solution to allow steam accounts to be linked with their Hi-Rez account. The problem is the solution wasn't really much of a solution and made the game unplayable at least for me. I can't log into the game on my correct profile since linking my steam account forces me to create a new user name. The new update automatically links your steam account with the H-Rez account, I can't unlink my steam account on the Hi-Rez account page, which cause my game to ask for a new user name each time I try to log into the game.
I can't log into the game until Hi-Rez fixes my account. I put in a ticket, but if Hi-Rez can't link or at very least fix my account so that I can at least log into the game, then I'm ask steam for a refund. It's ridiculous that I can't log into the game cause Hi-Rez can't fix their steam to Hi-Rez linking.

Remove EAC with setup by locating your game folder and opening easyanticheat folder and running easyanticheatsetup(not repaired but uninstalled). After that I've manually removed C:\Users{username}\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat folder and C:\Windows\System32\drivers\EasyAntiCheat.sys (for some reason these locations were not affected by uninstall).
