With that being said, you'd perhaps wonder why you would do it at all. But on the same page it states:

"If you link your accounts, you’ll unlock the Androxus “X” skin on both your PC and Xbox accounts."

Therefore, this suggests to me that all transfer/linking of accounts is no longer much of a benefit and was only included initially to help people transition to another platform. Now that the core/original people have finished linking accounts, they can hopefully get additional IAP from players on multiple platforms (or at least on the persons preferred platform).

So check you do have the unlocked skin, which I would expect that account to have. As for the rest of the stuff, you'll just have to play the game or decide what you want to pay for.
