Launch Error:Access is denied!

whenever i open the game after loading i get an error message that access is denied
please help!

This usually happens when you block Easy Anti Cheat from accessing a folder it creates in your system folder via an antivirus. Or your IP could be banned by Easy Anti Cheat (Possibly in another game that runs EAC.)

Try deleting EasyAntiCheat Folder where the game is saved then bring up steam, right click on Paladins -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify game cache integrity.

Sorry i didn't see this years ago, lol. I'm now facing the same problem. I tried everything Google says, such as enable service, reinstall Hi-Rez Authenticate software, bla, bla. Nothing worked. Until i realised my antivirus (Kaspersky) was highlighting all Paladins and Hi-Rez related files as UNTRUSTED and NOT ALLOWED. I had to manually set all files flagged as untrusted to trusted to make it work. In your case, depending on your antivirus, you can try disabling your antivirus and/or flagging detected files as trusted (check quarantine as well). Good luck.
