20-30mb is nothing.
You obviously dont know much about PCs if you think a GAME SERVICE using 20mb means its Malware
Heres a little tip for you
Just end the process :)
It isnt needed unless you are playing the game
Another little Tip
You can go into Windows Services and set it to run Manually, so it'll only open when you play the game, then you can end the process.
Please have technical knowledge before accusing something of being Malware.
You dont compare Malware, a malicious program with possibly destructive effects to a LEGIT Game Service that is NOT Destructive and has a purpose.
Its No different than Punkbuster running at startup, or any other game service/anti cheating service.
If you dont want to play a game with such a service, that is your right.
But dont go around giving false and incorrect information.
Steam uses more RAM than the Patch service does yet you dont complain about that
Sure steam is a client and the Patch process is a service but they BOTH work to update their products.
So under your logic Steam is like Malware as well
Now do you see how stupid that sounds?
I hope so
Thanks :)
