It will be dead if players stopped playing, the game isnt dead yet.

Teamfrotress 2 and Counter-Strike 1.6 arent even getting updates yet players continue to play. It will be us players that will determine if Paladins is dead. It's on maintenance mode, not offline.

Granted I haven't played the game for a long while since Rogue Company launched, so this is hypocrite of me :P

No, the game is dead. Development stopped and it averages 2k players a day. That number will dip even more now that they announced its death and it's just a matter of time until they shut down servers.

No, you're right, as long as players are still playing and the servers haven't been shut-off, the game isn't dead. That being said I believe the game will continue to bleed players over time with no new content updates and the game starts to stagnate. Unbalanced aspects of the game will continue to be unbalanced, more players will start to troll lobbies, more players will start making alt accounts to roll low level players, among other things that can tank a player base.

Cheaters are now having fun with casual players, people will get tired and abandon this damn game. It was like this for years and now its time to die.
