For Hi-Rez and gamers
Hello, developer and participant of our favorite game! Since I am a devoted fan of this game, I think that I have the right to express my thoughts on what should be done so that the game could go above a stable online of 5k people, or at least not lose it completely.
- First, you need to sort out the management positions of Paladins. It is obvious that the people who brought the game to low online for 8 years should resign and give place to fresh brains that can direct the game a step higher than it is now. Many mistakes were made, a lot of money was spent on nothing, someone should be responsible for all this.
- Secondly, establish feedback with the community, hold events and tournaments, cover them on social networks. Allocate a budget for this.
- Thirdly, I want to talk about your financial literacy and approach to monetizing the game content. I am not an investor and do not have access to their financial statements (I did not find any information in the public domain), so the conclusions here may be subjective, but the analysis of your actions makes it clear that you have a heaping spoonful of mistakes.
Hold on to employees that the studio does not need until the last minute, support projects that are failing in advance (and then support them for several years, Realm Royale, sorry for such words, you will forever be in my heart, but it is true). To understand where and when the mistake was made, you need to examine your actions throughout history under a magnifying glass, but it seems to me that you have made so many mistakes that you have long since given up on this.
The only thing you have now is an influx of new players who accidentally found the game in the free section, and we are the old Paladins. Focus on the new community, open all the characters at once so that newcomers do not lose interest after 3-4 characters, give them all the mechanics of the game at once. Focus on cosmetic content, remove crystals from free loot, only for daily login.
Develop not only Twitter in your country, but also social networks in other parts of the world where you have a large number of players. Hello, 21st century, humanity has at least invented a discord, develop! You have loyal players, in whose ranks, I am sure, there will be those who will lead them for a minimum fee.
We love this game and will support it as long as it is alive. Developer, do not miss the last chance before the "online window" finally closes

None of that is going to happen man. They're shifting all their efforts on to smite 2 just like they shifted all their effort into rogue company and realm royale. Paladins will slowly fade into obscurity and that's the way Hirez wants it cause they don't see a future where the game will make them more money than what they put into it.

Lots of games and companies struggling including in MOBAs and shooters

With some of the big companies making mistakes, a number of gamers are falling back to 'safe games' the ones that came first thus less risky to play

Companies see that and make changes with little risk to the company

Rarely is there something new

Deadlock might shake things up since it looks to combine 2 genres, MOBA and Hero Shooter trying to be both better than Smite and Paladins plus similar games

HiRez try and make Paladins 2 into a Deadlock clone. Try and capitalize on that upcoming market.

I would add, take the team who works with the banning system and change it entirely. I kid you not, Im trying so hard to actually speak with someone who want to listen of the staff and I always get: "We know you got trolled, got called monkey for speaking spanish and that you got harrass mid ranked game and we banned you for defending yourself, ♥♥♥♥ OFF"

Youre not entitled to anything. No one from their team reads these forum. Discord is a blackmail and data harvesting app only braindead zoomers use. Good day, enjoy the end of your game.
