Maeve tips?

I'm a level 70 Maeve and it's disappointing that you don't see many guides on people who play her. (regardless of level) does anyone have any tips with her? I've seen many successful maeves with various builds (decks).

Anyone care to explain why they do what they do?

Right now, she's kinda op so you can get away with bad decks on Maeve. THE build though is Cat Burglar with Predation card. The resets are stupid.

As far as mechanics, don't try to kill people with pounce, save it for escape. Try to get on top of an enemy as it's harder for them to aim at you.

Don't Midnight a 1v, it's a valuable tool for setting up point fights for the team and shouldn't be wasted.

I believe my builds are fine, though I recently reduced Predation to 3 points. I agree, the reset cards aren't very useful.

I would definitely say that her first pounce is crucial in a 1v1 because after using prowl the knife-knife-pounce-knife-knife combo usually kills anyone who isn't a tank (assuming you hit all the shots. If not, then press q and dash away).

I usually use Midnight if my team cannot seem to push any further or is out of position. Or if someone is hitting a good flank, or even if my healer is about to die and no one is able to reach her/him. As well as in the beginning of a round to get a pick and then push point.

Additionally, if the team's positioning is just too good, I would definitely use Midnight to go for a kill if i'm almost sure I could get it. Though It's rare for me to use it if I cannot see it benefiting the team rather than just myself.

Because some people just don't seem interested in playing every single champion and know how they play out? I can't play Ash or Bomb King for the life of me and no one complains about it. You don't need to know every single champion to be good at the game.

Because some people just don't seem interested in playing every single champion and know how they play out? I can't play Ash or Bomb King for the life of me and no one complains about it. You don't need to know every single champion to be good at the game.

Yeah I wasn't even going to acknowledge their comment. It doesn't matter how good you are with a champion. There is ALWAYS room for improvement. And I will never deny tips on how to get better as Maeve. She is my favorite champion.

Maeve is so hard to play right now with this effing lag. You can't jump too. Her weapons are hard to hit to begin with + lag, well good luck.

I've never had a problem hitting my shots with her, nor does lag affect that now. Hits are back to registering properly and her pounce works fine. Not being able to press space bar doesn't affect me much.

Truth. I saw pro player Rock Monkey trying to play Maeve on stream last night and you could see a lot of his jumps were stunted by the jump bug and a lot of the blades just went right through enemies. I think he's East Coast NA.

It happens everywhere, I think. I play in SEA and this only happened more recently and I've been playing for 4 years. I saw Bugzy complaining about the servers too on EU. It's getting very annoying.

all flanks are hard to play with the server lag cuz their movement abilities glitch....(experienced with andro)
