Is Paladins active?

Thinking of playing this game. Don't want to walk into a dead game. The reason I ask this is because I tried playing it on nintendo switch today and I found out it was discontinued. Next I thought of downloading the game on xbox and I didn't see many post in the game club. So I thought the best place to play was on pc.

They discontinued the game on Switch mostly because the hardware sucks and it was dragging down the game for other platforms.
XBOX and PC can play together, in fact, crossplay is active by default.
Lastly, game isn't dead as long you don't play ranked

this game is literally the best hero arena shooter concept wise but sadly kokojack is coping saying it isnt dead. Once the pro scene died cuz of covid lockdown the player base has shrunk immense tbh its probally why the mixed kbnm with controller rank also its cross with ps4 and 5 and if u have a computer that can play this game plug ur controller into it and lower the resolution scaling to lowest setting console input delay literally is so horrible it almost unplayable vs like i use a labtop with a ryzen 3 g 3200 when iam out of town arevisting family and its literally amazes me how bad this computer ue preforms
and the reason it was removed off switch was coding issues cause hard crashing sense they drop it on switch that they could never fix but switch played the game better then xbox one and ps4 lol

The game is very much alive. It also moves in a good direction balance wise.

If you play casual you will get matches very fast at least here in EU.

I am a returning player and i am very pleased with the direction this game is going and yesterdays hotfix proves the devs are listening to the community as they fixed some of the most needed stuff and did not wait for the next patch.

we are literally losing half of players each year. Game is dead as ♥♥♥♥ and no wonder why. Stil black screen after match, crashes, bot, bugged ults, embarassing hitbox. ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Its UNPLAYABLE. And for those who says game is alive, u are just wrong. facts are against you. Just check steam chart. And how embarassing is a game who pretend to be competitive (which is not) that, IN ORDER to queue a ranked match, you need CROSSPLAY activated. Its a meme

What's a meme is people calling Paladins "dead" and "unplayable" when it has an active playerbase of easily 100k+ individuals, of which roughly 10k (across platforms) are playing simultanously at any given time.

As I'm writing this comment, you are playing Paladins. I checked you guru-page too, in the past six months you have played almost 1,200 matches. If we do a simply math and divide the 1200 matches : the 180 days, you play an average of 6.66 matches every day.

Bizarre, don't you think.
