Next Gen Console FPS
With next gen consoles being out for 2-3+ years, I believe there’s enough people that own them to impact the size of the player base. Of not just Paladins but any Hi-Rez game. Bigger player base equals more income, right? So why not present next gen versions? These games aren’t very graphic intensive. I would be happy if they just copied current gen version over to next gen. But, just raise the frame cap since next gen consoles can play at 120 or 100+ fps. Many pc players play with controller in controller only lobbies, which gives advantage to them over console players via frame rate. Not only that console players can also use mouse and keyboard if they choose to. Console makes up a good section of the player base I’m sure. All players would feel much more balanced making the game more exciting/competitive. Is this a great expense to the company? Or is it difficult to raise the frame rate in a game? Can someone more knowledgeable in game development help me understand what goes into such a thing?

It needs a new game like Overwatch 2, because Paladins 1 has spaghetti code is causing all the bugs and glitches.

They should just remake Paladins and Smite using Unreal Engine 5, people will stop playing their games if they insist with Unreal Engine 3.

And no, raising the framerate is not difficult for them since you can play at high frames on PC, theycould set 120 as cap for PS5 with no problem.
I think paladins run at 120 fps on xbox series s

I would love this but it's nowhere near as simple as switching engines. All assets would need to be remade, mechanics and a whole lot more to get it to run in a stable state. That also means a whole lotta dollar and to go through all hat on a game id be willing to bet has left the, "Cash cow" status it aint gonna happen.
