And no, raising the framerate is not difficult for them since you can play at high frames on PC, theycould set 120 as cap for PS5 with no problem.
I would love this but it's nowhere near as simple as switching engines. All assets would need to be remade, mechanics and a whole lot more to get it to run in a stable state. That also means a whole lotta dollar and to go through all hat on a game id be willing to bet has left the, "Cash cow" status it aint gonna happen.
