Agreed, I haven't seen too much of an abuse of it yet but it's probably only a matter of time before you see 5 stacks of Kasumi, Andro, Lian, etc that will make TDM unbearable.

I only hope that I'm wrong and it won't be as bad as I think it will be.

i did 2 TDM games for daily quest and it went as following:
1st match against 5 Kasumis -> 3min loose with not even 10 kills of my team
2nd match hards fought loose against 4 makoas who always hooked and pushed champs off the map
fun was hard to find there...

This happened because the few who continue to play this game are groups that since the pick any mode came out as temporary, swear and swear that it is "super fun" while destroying other teams playing cancerous compositions, and as the hirez development team is really incompetent, among all the good suggestions that the community gives, They choose to listen to the loud and stupid minority.

I agree. I do enjoy both modes, but you don't need to effectively replace regular TDM.
If they really didn't want to split the queue it could have at least been some random chance for play anyone. Like how KotH and Ons share a queue.

Because TDM is meant for practicing like if I want practe on Lex and someone pick him will force me to wait to another match.

And who Tryhard in TDM?

I can't speak for everyone else but I actually primarily play TDM, occasionally I'll play onslaught as well but I'm all Siege'd out, also while I don't exactly "tryhard" or anything, it is still the mode that I play the most and the recent change has degraded the experience a bit.

As Syncourt has said, if they were to just add the new "Anything Goes" mode as a chanced queue like how KOTH and Onslaught works there probably wouldn't even really be complaints. A bit of Anything Goes can be quite fun but having absolutely no choice or compromise in the matter is what the problem really is.

really? i figured the shooting range was for practice... you do realise they have a target practice minigame in there with multiple moving bullseye targets right?

if you didn't know about it, the trigger for it is on the top of the outside of the range.

and yea it does help increase your aiming skill, all the targets move in a different way, some are larger some are smaller, some move faster and others move slower... just cycle through trying to nail all of them before the first one you shot respawns

like sure the only thing i wish they had in the shooting range was a small 1v1 bot arena where you could choose a champion that the bot will control and fight you so you can practice solo against a specific character.

They cannot split up queues further because there are not enough players. The majority of players either prefer the any all or do not care, I think that those who do not like it are a small number of players. Obviously this small number of players can be found here and I respect their opinion but it does not represent the majority.

They were likely attempting to complete the trials for the first week of the new battlepass, which require using 20 ultimates each on Kasumi and Makoa so it takes a long time to complete. Therefore people are doing it in the new any all mode because they can always pick Makoa or Kasumi and always make progress. Whereas before it would be one person instantly locking Makoa or Kasumi and everyone else is unable to make progress on the trial.

I have to be honest, this makes sense and is more than likely correct. I appreciate your response to this.

It might just be temporary, but instead of a new mode, it just temporarily replaces normal TDM.

This is possible. Normally they do not bring back gamemodes after they have removed them, such as payload, survival, PvE, etc. But this is more of a gamemode rework than a removal.
