As long as you put in their character name through the Paladins website & you guys are playing in a group you should be good. :)
Giving an example here friend gives me his link to refer i click it im taken to something like this: (http etc)-/play-for-free/?ref=FriendsName
Step 1
Required stuff
Step 2
Make Account
Gmail/Facebook options
i try both gmail/facebook page reloads, ive tried 5 diferent browsers, i got cookies enabled and nothing that stops flash is running while i do this i just have no idea how to do it. :/
The refer link is created for new accounts only.
If you would like to refer your friend and vice versa you need to go here - https://www.paladins.com/my-account/ Then under paladins it should say "Refer a friend" Simply type your friends character name and Voila its done :)
This is what I get if I try to refer one of my friends.
Only if their hi rez account is less than ten days old. it is a broken system, I know people that never even heard of paladins until a friend tried to refer them and can't since their hi rez accounts were made back when global agenda was new. it is a flawed system, you are referring them to the game not hi rez.
