He has great healing.... If your team knows how to stand in a circle.
He has a cheeky movement skill
SURGING WITH POOOOOOWWAAAAAHH
Not too "tanky" but meh
Somewhat bad DPS.
Your healing buoy is absolute trash in the health department. 1Shot destroy most of the time.
Ask iregi
He plays grohk alot I think.
Also card up for your healing bouy, it helps.
Iregi Who?
I believe he made a thread about Grohk and Ying's aim assist.
If I can find it ill link it, it helps to knoe that about a character
Found the quote but no thread.
His attack is easy to land and does consistent damage. His range is surprisingly far. Ghost Walk is kinda meh imo. It's hard to time it properly to negate the most damage. (For example; if u time Ghost Walk ~0.8s after Skye dropped her ulti you won't get damaged)
Overall Grohk is alright. His healing is amongst the best if not the best ingame.
I don't like his ulti though.
I outperformed Ruckus in a recent game. I did more damage, more kills and had the most objective time. If you're good, Grohk will be good.
The trick is to move a lot. That's true for anyone especially in arena type shooters. Stand still, get killed. I danced circles around on point all by myself as Grohk. It's even better when you get a team that realizes this is an objective based game. Then your job is easy.
^This. Groups healing totem doesn't move (unlike Grover and Pip whose heals are more mobile). The healing totem only works if the team actually groups up. If you play with a group of friends who actually know what they are doing instead of a bunch of randoms, then it makes playing Grohk (or any champion for that matter), that much easier to play.
Edit: The real challenge is trying to work with a team that has zero knowledge of the game.
Well, I also use the range increase card level 4 for a 40% increase of the totem's range. I can 1v1 damage dealers who don't understand the totem is srs bsns.
