Oh yeah easily, but Im just trying to find out. Is that wrong to hate on a healer for getting 14,000 heals? That's like....nothing I feel like.
And it seems to be really common with all these random matches. Im consistently getting "top healer". Even when the enemy team has a Grover.
Its like why?!?! just why!?! why play support and not heal?!? I dont get it.
What is support? lol
Support in most game i play just spamming any other skills then healing.
In most multiplayer games, support usually indicates a type of character that is supposed to either heal or buff their teammates. Some games also have a support character that provides artillery, but that is usually for strategy games (although Pip does do a little bit of that as well).
All of the support champions are Paladins. Providing healing. That's their main job. Likewise, they tend to suck in the damage department.
No i meant every game that i play on Paladin always have people picking supports but never do any healings.
Oh haha. Yeah thats exactly how it is for me.
Or they end up inadvertly healing a few teammates who just happen to be in close proximity to them as opposed to actually seeking out and healing the frontlines and damages and occasionally healing the flankers if they are close by.
True, but I feel like the underlying point of support is healing. No other class in the game can heal their teammates as far as support goes. Dishing out damage should be regulated to the damage and frontline classes. While flankers do their jobs and eliminate enemies from behind.
Why deal in damage when the class isnt designed for that?
considering all that a Grover healof 70k in a game for example , id say PIP with its Q on a 6 second cooldown optimised can heal 1000 and you need to aim it , sometimes allies move out of it last second. so i would be generous in the calculation of PIP's healing
lets say a PIP healing 30k would be acceptably simmilar , due to easier healing factor of grover wich did 50k.
to me grover feels like a healer way more than pip.
Would be great if it didn't eat up the flask.
Also, in ARTS games (MOBA, if you prefer that name) supports don't have to be just healers.
They can also be disablers, nukers and just buffers.
Also, best support is also by killing an enemy. As this game isn't a traditional ARTS (obviously), gold allocation isn't a problem.
Exactly. A pip healer who is only doing 14k healing (which is often the case) isn't doing enough healing. Thats why I say 30k is around the bare minimum. I average 40k in healing because my entire pip build is designed around spamming the potions, but even without the build, a pip healer should average at 30k points in healing.
And yes. Grover is basically the stereotypical healer. His damage is trash unless its long range, but his heals are literally the best of all the support classes. Easily able to rack in 60k-100k in healing points.
I feel like Grohk is sort of a middle man. Not as good at healing as Grover, but better than Pip, and less damage output than Pip, but better than Grover.
