Report a translation problem
We need less kiddies who speak 1 language in online games.
Mostly people think ow client is avaliable in lang X so i wont have to speak english.
Only promoting alienation of the community.
Ciao :)
Yeah those polish and turkish translation clients already cause some issues...
turks and polish players refusing to speak english while they can...
As for the Italian translation of the game I don't care at all. As Jmthebigman said, less underage kids in the game.
English:
I agree with Jmthebigman too, the english version is easy to understand
BYE.
Used google translator to figure out what he was saying.
Kinda proves my point of alienation of the community.
Wants Italian translation so he can speak only Italian in the game... That is a bad habit in the gaming industry that companies babysit people who potentially do more harm to the games community than good.
I'm French, but I use the English translation. That is my choice because I prefer the effects and sounds in English. But I still think that if there are some people who don't feel in their comfort zones in English, that they should be able to use their own language, escpecially a widely used and known one like Italian.
It's really easy for you English peeps to say you want everyone talking English, because that is the only language you are good at. What if some day or another the game suddenly became Italian and everyone was against adding the English language. Thats how people are feeling right now.
I do not believe that this will in any way alienate the community, I myself would be unhappy if the French language wasn't available even if I don't use it. The world is made of many cultures and languages, not only English speaking people, if you do not like the fact that people aren't speaking you're language, DEAL WITH IT or even better go learn the language yourself. Respect is earned not forced unlike how you were humiliating these people.
It's not really "deal with it" kind of situation if you can't talk to anyone in the game about what you are doing and what they are doing because everyone stubborny speaks their native language. It just hurts teamwork.
The world might be made of many langueges and that is why we have translators in the real world. But those don't work well in games where you need responses right away.
Eenglish is a major language in online gaming, so I for one hope that people use it as much as possible so I can understand them.
And no, I'm not native english speaker.
