Are there any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mods here?
Seriously this forum is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. Mods need to step it up and start locking threads, temp banning trolls, and make some pinned threads to stop people from making the same damn thread every 10 minutes.

I made the exact thread 4 minutes ago... I'm not really sure if there will be any mods anytime soon since there is the subreddit (/r/paladins, the developers talk to the community there) and I think there is also a forum on their website but I'm not super sure.

In any case it is much better to just talk on the subreddit rather than here.

Oh good a post locked in the trade subforum. They're so proactive. There is only ONE thread licked in general discussions. ONE. I haven't seen anoyone banned.

Then they NEED to get off their asses and get over here. They are doing blatant damage to their game. This forum is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and there are people spamming "overwatch clone" threads every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10 minutes. This may scare away potential customers, or peave off existing ones.

When looking if I'm interested in a steam game, the first place I go certainly isn't a subreddit. It's the hub to see what people are saying about it. Ignoring this hub, makes me worry they'll ignore customers who aren't big enough fans to go look for the subreddit.

♥♥♥♥ Hi-Rez, I thought you were better than this.

It takes a little while to get community mod permissions set up, even if it's a volunteer. It's unfortunate a lot of companies haven't set these things up in advance to prevent this kind of thing from happening, but it should get sorted out in enough time.

No it wouldnt. A dev could sticky a thread about overwatch similarities, and explain why it seems so similar. Sticky a bug post thread, and sticky a suggestion thread.

After that there is really only 10-20 people theyd need to give a temp ban to that are the main trouble makers. Then lock any thread on the first page or any that get bumped, that is about it being an "overwatch clone" and comment on it with a link to the stickied post.

If they're modderating the subreddit they sure as ♥♥♥♥ should be doing their job here.

i guess a sticky might do something but as you can already see by the mutiple threads about the same things , not everyone has the ability to read , think or use the search function
Sure it wouldnt solve everything. But banning 10-20 people for 3 days, locking 10-20 threads and posting a few stickies would slow down the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Fortunately someone like you wont ever be a mod, and that is a good thing. Unless people are breaking forum rules they are free to post whatever they like. Banning and locking threads will make things worse.

I think Hi-Rez is more interested in managing their own forums and subreddit rather than here. A sticky to the forum would be nice though.

Im not asking to be a mod. I'm asking for the mods to get off their ass. Banning and locking indescriminately would not be good.

But temp banning people throwing out racial slurs and who are blatant trolling will not harm the game. Locking DUPLICATE threads and linking another more relevant thread wont do harm.

I'm not asking them to censor people. I'm asking them to temp ban people who are blatantly and intentionally causing trouble, and flaming, which is against forum rules.

yea i wouldnt want me to be a mod either, i would have smacked you with the ban hammer ages ago
I complete agree. To an extent, I do deserve a temp ban. I deserve one less than dozens of other people who are being intentionally flaming and causing controversy. I've been a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but only to people who were already being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It doesn't make it any better, but I'm not being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unprovoked.

If I got temp banned along with all thw other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, frankly I'd be glad. If I was the only one banned I'd be livid. But the devs have bigger fish to fry.

That's very good to hear. I'm glad you intend to have this forum moderated intead of exlusively dealing on reddit as I've seen some other devs do. Sorry if I sounded harsh... but this forum is one of the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I've seen on a steam hub.

And here I was just sending a Tweet about when we'd see a few more moderators.
Good to know we'll see some more soon.

Well, even your language can be counted as inflammatory you know? But overall yes anything against the forum rules can be banned and locked. But you cant ask people to get banned because of Overwatch. Yeah I know, it is getting pretty tiring but both sides are acting like immature children.

I didn't say they should be banned for talking about OW similarities. I said a mod should make an official pinned thread for it and start locking threads and linking to the official one. Not to silence people but to stop them from spamming the same thrwads every 10 minutes.

I know both sides are the problem. Does Hi-Rez want people defending their game while simultaneously calling anyone who disagrees with them "ni**ers"? (note I put "*" there because thats exactly how the person I'm referencing wrote it)

Yeah, and I have literally seen people saying "Overwatch" fanboy to some who had criticism of the game. The OP did not even mention Overwatch and yet the topic devolved into us VS them in a matter of few posts. They should have appointed mods and made posting rules before launching the game on Steam, that is on them.
