Gold given in mail is fake

I get tons of messages saying I get 5,000 or so gold, but i get nothing. Am i bugged? Or is this intentional?

It's a situation happening to me frequently. You'll most likely get that message after completing a match, it's probably because you've either leveled up or finished a trial, or any way that you can get gold. The gold that you've obtained from the following reasons will then automatically pop-up on your notifications as soon as you've finished a game.

You probably did. The notification, from what I can tell, is a running total of the gold you've gotten recently and not the gold you just received from a playing a match. So, you might have gotten 300 at some point recently, but the game is telling you that you've gotten 5000 total over the last unknown period of time, maybe since server reset or the last few days.

They should rework those notifications so the players are less confused as to where the gold is coming from. GTA has a better system for that, I think.

I didnt get it period, but as another user mentioned, its a total of the gold you get that day.
