Game won't launch
I recently had to replace the motherboard and processor in my PC, which had me not able to play Paladins for about a week. Upon getting everything set up, and downloading the new update, I can't get the game to launch from Steam. It brings up the EAC window, fills the blue bar, then a few seconds later the 'Launch' button goes from blue back to green. I've restarted my PC multiple times, verified the integrity of the game files, deleted and reinstalled the game, and updated my graphics card drivers. Still no luck. Does *anyone* have an idea what might be going on?

In case it's important, I'm using an MSI MAG B560 Tomahawk WIFI motherboard with an Intel Core i5-11400 CPU. AFAIK everything is installed properly. Everything else runs perfectly fine; I'm only having an issue with Paladins.

Edit: I'm an idiot, and didn't try another Hi-Rez game. Just tried running Smite and it does the same thing. Loads the main splash screen, Steam says 'running' for a few seconds, then it goes back to the green 'Play' button and doesn't run. Dark Souls works fine.

SOLUTION: Browse to your "Paladins\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat\Launcher" folder, and open "Settings64.json" with a text editor. On the line that says "executable" change "Win64\\Paladins.exe" to "Win32\\Paladins.exe".

ive tried but they werent too helpful
They won't help, scroll up a bit, and you see my post #37, I gave a fix workaround that get the 64bit version running, had no issues, played for hours as well. Or can check my guide I made, it same btw.

The other option is running game in 32bit mode, which you edit a file, and tell it to run 32bit version, you can check post #7.

Me too!!!! Since Thuirsday already. I have tried everything possible that I could find on Easy Anti Cheat (that is EAC) but it WILL NOT WORK. Same blue bar that fills but then error.

My problem was with Easy Anti Cheat in EPIC GAMES (Paladins).... Now I have uninstalled, and am busy reinstalling Paladins on Steam. PLEASE tell me I did not just waste 25 Gig of Data...

What else is installed or running in the background on the computer that might be triggering EAC to shut down? It isn't that Paladins can't run, it's that EAC is shutting down because of something it doesn't like about your computer.

Did you check Easy AntiCheats troubleshooting website? https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/tcgrw/issues/guide/

Browse to your "Paladins\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat\Launcher" folder, and open "Settings64.json" with a text editor. On the line that says "executable" change "Win64\\Paladins.exe" to "Win32\\Paladins.exe".

I don't know why this worked, but it did for me. Game launches fine now.

I'm so sorry. I'll keep digging to see what I can find. This game has criminally non-existent support :/
