How to get skins

Guys, I am a new player of paladins, and I want to buy a new horse, or maybe some skins on charactets, how can i buy it?Only open chests?

Well.. you see at the moment if you are new it is hard to get them, because trials of the realm often needs champions for crystals, so maybe you should first try champions that you can play with / like, and then you can buy some with gold, these are mostly the recolored skins, but it's better then nothing, isn't it? So you should first farm gold, and buy champions and stuff, and then you can concentrate on the skins, some you will not get back, not even in chests, you can buy some directly with crystals, or in chests, so you get crystals simply from trials of the realm, but in the most challenges you need to have a specific champion, so maybe you first farm for them, or for the ones you like, or that seem interesting to you...

Hi-rez is pretty greedy when it comes to skins, just look at SMITE where there almost as much gods as non-exclusive direct purchase skins. But yeah, in Paladins most skins are only in chests or events which is gonna cost you a lot of gems.

buy chests or buy battle pass , but how to get crystals?
there is only 2 way :
1- first do all trials of the realm like a good boy and get 350 crystals , wait for the new battle pass (it comes in 5 days) and you can get 50 crystals in there too , so you get 400 crystals and you can buy battle pass , or 1 diamond chest and 2 small chest, diamond chest gives you cool skins and maybe 2 horse skins , but small chest only emote/mvp pose/sprays
2-if you are lazy to do challenges , then just pay money (if you are not cheap tho)

yes , you can get skins with both diamonds and golds , use diamonds to buy chests and get skins
and use 40000 or 60000 golds to buy a recolor skin , each champion has a recolor skin

How to get skin?

step 1: open your wallet.
step 2: start opening chest.
step 3: feel like an idiot for not getting the one you wanted after 100 bucks.

thats it, im not counting recolors because those aren't skins.

alternatively you can buy the battle pass, but chances are there are skins for champions you dont like/use, sometimes there are sale for specific skins or chest with limited polls.

Yeah until the bounty store comes back all skins require some sort of real money payment.
