Champion pack 50% off, worth it?

A lot of the reviews said its not worth it, but I'm not sure if they are talking about the full price or the 50% sale (15 bucks)
I'm a new player so I haven't unlock a single non-default champ yet.

I'd say it's worth it if its 50% off, gettubg access to all the champs would be very useful

All champions can be unlocked using Gold, which is obtainable just through playing the game. And that gold is useful for only 2 things: Unlocking all the champions, and getting additional slots on the emote/spray wheel. However, there is no point in unlocking additional slots in that emote/spray wheel if you don't have many emotes or sprays. (Also technically its useful for leveling up champions but lets just forget that exists...). If you want to spend money on the game, I say get gems or a battlepass or something. The champion pack though? I say don't get it. And as for the other packs, I'm honestly not sure. I'll let someone else answer that question.

It is worth it if you don't want to buy heroes every week or so. But seriously the only hero you really need would be

Tank: Inara(Barik), Ash, Fernando, Makoa, Ruckus, Terminus

Dmg: Cassie, Lian, Shalin/Kinessa, Dredge, Vivian/Vik

Flank: Depends which one you want to play, I suggest playing the flankers that's free to play first then check there...

Support: Furia, Damba, Ying

For support it's only limited to three because, that's the only ones I've played thus far and I've seen how great the hero potential, Ying offers more burst heal than Furia though, that's why I prefer her than Furia...

As a side note, someone mentioned that Grover's supposedly a good pick for support at this update but I don't know about that yet. I haven't tried him. I suppose Ghrok would be good too but I haven't tried him playing support nor dmg.


Supposedly, Koga's buff made him OP this patch but ehhh, caut 3 seems to do the trick to be honest... I mean that's just my opinion.... But a lot of ppl digress...

Its not lol, gold grinds so fast you dont need to spend money on that. You will eventually catch up with new champs and own them all. If you buy, gold becomes useless unless you like those poor reskins or if you want to buy levels lol

I think it's a good deal. Gold absolutely doesn't grind fast enough that you'll be able to get everything right just now. It's definitely a grind to get everything, and new champs are always being added. Champions Pack supports the game, gets you all the champs, permanently removes a grind from the game. All you'll have to worry about is unlocking Talents now.

it depends on how many characters you want to play. i actually play like 8 out of 40 and some of them are pretty sporadic, so i dont need it

I played a couple of days at launch and last night I started playing again. 15 euros for all champions that will take you a LONG time to unlock is definitely worth the buy.

I dunno, I have all but 2 characters unlocked and enough gold to buy both. I've never seen a reason to buy the hero pack. Especially now that there seems to be so little to buy with gold.

This and using 600 crystals for battle pass and collecting the gold coins all the way up to level 50.
Will unlock 3-5 champions at 30k coins within 2 weeks with valuable voice packs from battle chests.

Its amazing how hirez staff is trying to work this to their advantage by earning money.
I see alot of loop holes and work arounds with their ideas that back fire.

Champions pack is for those people who are seriously crunched on time. Believe me on this, grinding to unlock champions is a hell lot fun. Some champions are dirt cheap like pip, Grohk and grover. And in the mean time you learn to master a newly champion, you will have enough gold to unlock a new one
