What do you guys think about Tiberius?
Hello! Today, I am here to ask for your opinions on Tiberius. To me, he is a strong champion as you can put out so much damage with his 2 weapons. Also, his ultimate can wipe out an entire team stacking on the point if used correctly. However, since I have a little amount of experience with Tiberius and in game. So what do you guys think of him?

I have no idea why they think this is ok. I bet they will not nerf him properly, or even they will not nerf him at all.

That might be right since hirez doesn't seem to be caring about the balance part of the game.

It's funny to hear that from a player with 25 hours in the game.
Listen. You're very new to the game and you might think this game is the most unbalanced and atrocious game ever. It isnt.
I have 1500hrs in paladins, and have played many other games of Paladins' style, and i might say it's probably one of the better balanced games i've ever seen. There never really was one character that obliterated the meta, neither a whole composition that destroyed any ennemy team.
If you look at the Season 3 patchnotes, you can see that balance was THE biggest part of this patch. It is litteraly completely false to say that that Hirez doesnt care about the balance of the game, because they're the publisher; the actual dev team, Evil Mojo, care alot about balance. Heck, we even have a whole consulate of 8 players of the community to help with balance and polish and such.

Yeah, i'm sure pressing right click and hovering the mouse over a crippled tiberius requires enormous skill and months of training :winter2019joyfultearsgingerbread:

That's not what i'm saying. I'm just saying that you currently new to the game and you're still learning, so dont be too quick to judge.

Litteraly like Talus minus the mobility

Useless most of the time until they use combat trance nor Overcharge and all hell break loose !

The slow on his not-Dredge harpoon sword is a bit too much. Either have the long duration or the mega movement speed decrease, not both. His jump is way, way worse than what most other similar characters get, but I guess he makes up for it with his MAXIMUM SPEED mode. Honestly haven't played enough since the patch to form a real opinion on him yet.

He's pretty okay. Shame they ruined half the appeal of him by nerfing VGS.

Maybe nullify torvald, but even then that's a soft counter at best
tiberius = another braindead champion

Support main. I don't usually see them with a lot of teamwork (yet?), but when they play off their support or flank even a little, it's pretty devastating. Otherwise, tiberius is easy to track through the air, but good at contributing controlling multiple areas from decent cover. I wouldn't hate it if there was a bit more damage drop off, but I'm still learning to fight them. I know I still get surprised by them more than other champs even though he's usually kind of awkwardly obvious. I just try to avoid close range encounters at all costs, he definitely gets a high watch, heal and kill priority.

He's pretty solid but everyone that understands how cripples and cc works can deal with the ult pretty easy. The ult can be pretty good for stalling or focusing someone who is out of position or just use it to get away. His slow on the sword is good, and his dmg is pretty good and for 4 seconds its great. I'd say he's pretty fun but he's no delete you in a second like Lian and Cassie. He has very clear flaws and weaknesses which i think makes him fun to play as and against. Just learn the match up and it get easier once you figure out he can't run away if he commits to a fight unless he has his ult.

he's fine rn
