Too many champions?
I played this game in summer a lot and I remember it having a looot of champions, it was hard to properly learn them all to play and counter, I stopped playing in September for some reason and since then they've already added 3 more champions. Koga, dredge and imani to a total of 39. It seems like they're just throwing them out every month, I don't like that. I'd much rather prefer 1 decent champion every 3-4 months. It's also pretty hard to get the hang of the game for new players I'd imagine, there's already a complicated card system plus having to learn all 39 champions' abilities is too much and probably won't attract many players. You might say it keeps the game fresh and adds new content but it's a bad way of doing it. I'd like to hear opinions from people that played this game more than me. Cheers!

Koga was released on the 18th july. Dredge was released on the 27th september. Imani is going to be released tomorrow/today. So what you're asking for is exactly whats been happening for the whole last year.

Its actually quite simple. New players usually use the default deck for quite some time until they decide to create their own deck. Also its possible to look up popular decks.
And learning all champions kits is a natural thing. New players cant play against real people until they reach level 5, at which point they have understood the basics. And atleast then they'll start looking for a champion to spend their gold on, which means looking at their ability list.

It is, it's a Hero shooter MOBA hybrid. It's still considered a MOBA

as a veteran player i played this game when it only had like 11 champs , when i came back i didnt really like the new champions, till i played competitive again, and learned how when and why to use them, then i fell in love with the new guys, inara for example is extremely powerful and new.

btw i found old screenshot of my diamond rank on my iphone so take that matt :D i can post if u really wanna see

I dont consider this game a MOBA , moba is like smite or leage of legends

no creep waves
no lanes
no fountain to buy items in
no towers

its not a moba

stop saying that

however it does receive INFLUENCE from mobas

but its a first person shooter with classes and its 5v5 objective capture

i dont really know what to call it honestly perhaps its not even a genre

the only games like this are paladins and overwatch

and also there is one other but ... its not a game , its a game mode

Capture game mode, in Blacksquad , is similar to this

but blacksquad is a counter-strike type game, that also has a call of duty type, game modes

airborne
destruction

and capture

the last one is similar to paladins/overwatch

Who are you to decide that ?

Paladins heroes more decent than overwatch's, and we support
hirez
decision about this.

If u cant take that just because too many heroes is pain in your ass, you should not even play this game and play overwatch instead

Seriously, your opinion is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid

well... I like there are more and more champion to choose.
if 39 is too much for you, consider overwatch or never play moba game as your brain cannot affort that much information.
I recommend getting mastery 3 with every champ.
It's easy, and you learn their abilities, strength, weaknesses
