Do chest often give skins and item of the champion that you don't own?

Most of the chest I got either from battle pass or the one I purchased with crystal give me skins, voice pack, poses and emotes of the champion I don't own yet. And most of the time I don't even get skins it's mostly emotes and poses something that I don't really care for. Do you think it's been done deliberately?

I honestly believe it is random. But you do get emotes and sprays over skins. I got all the rare emotes in the gold chest but I still need 5-6 rare skins.

But I got the buck skins from the Diamond when his was my main.

you can check "details" on what items are there in that chest before you open them to see your odds

I wabted Inara ice queen skin or Cassie's Van Helsin skin. Got makoa break dance

If a chest contains spray,emote,voice. Pack or some ♥♥♥♥, don't even think about wasting crystals on it.

I regret using my hard earned crystals in these chests.

Only time I remember a chest like that was worth it was when I got really lucky and got Res Winter Tyra on my first try in the World Wide chest

Or when I got the exact weapon I wanted in the Necromancer chest and got the green zhin sword, then again it only had 3 things in it

Chests firstly trying to give you voice packs(if chest have one), then green type of items, then blue, then purple, then yellow.
But to be fair, its purely random

I only seem to get gear for champs I don't use, like HiRez is trying to get me to diversify lol

Chances to get some emote obviously are bigger, if ppl would get what they want from the first try consistently then why would they even implement chests as it is ?

Check the details on the chest, the ones that on the top are the rarest, means lower percentage of rng compared those items at the bottom.

The odds are not in your favor. I think some are random and others (battle pass chests?) are specifically ordered as some have witnessed.

I won't get chests. I'll only buy items directly. It's gambling and (these game mechanics are) illegal in some countries. Gambling is designed to screw you. It shouldn't have to be illegal for them to do the right thing but whatever. Stay vigilant friends. <3

Quite honestly I care about only 5 skins
1 Inara Ice Skin
2 Torvald Darth Vader Skin
3 Cassie Van Helsin skin
4 Viktor Doomslayer skin
5 Khan Ameri-Khan skin

Unfortunately the risks are too high and I'd rather save my crystals for Battlepass 3.
