Retaliation really just works on people who just keep shooting
Smolder is just to be annoying and almost invincible in any 1v1
Guillotine if you're feeling confident in your deck and you know you will get elims to heal yourself and reset cooldowns(I personally use this one), mostly used to kill high health things or anything in that matter
yomi for damage and quick kill. that extra 150 damage really helps to kill enemies who r trying to get away, but with normal hit most likely they will succeed and will come back with full health and all ur attack will b for nothing. thats why use yomi to finish off a target u dealt too much damage but trying to get away from u.
When the enemy team has two frontlines or more, Guillotine. Your job is now to build ult on the squishies and take out frontlines at strategic moments with your ult.
Smolder is redundant. Zhin's best cards involve buffing Billow's length and movement speed. There's nobody you can't escape from with those cards, and by the time Billow wears off you're out of combat and your natural regen has started. This is why Veteran is actually an okay item buy for Zhin.
Retalliation only works against stupid people. If you frequently play against stupid people, have some fun with it. Just don't get used to relying on it for serious play.
