Launch Error
Everytime I try to boot paladins, either from steam or from the desktop shortcut it allows me to boot the launcher but when I press 'play' I get

"Launch Error" File not found: EasyAntiCheat\Cache\easyanticheat_wow64_x64.eac I don't know why this is as I was playing this game less than 8 hours ago without issue.

I have already googled this and looked around a bit, tried repairing EasyAntiCheat, uninstalling and reinstalling said anti cheat. confirming files with steam to make sure nothing was missing (it said nothing was) deleting sections of the game, redownloading them to force steam to put back these files in case the ones I had were corrupted, running antivirus scanners to see if anything malicious was happening. I got nothing. Short of completely deleting and redownloading the game I have no idea what else to do.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE: I have looked through previous threads suggesting me to visit EAC's website. or trying to get a new setup file from there. Upon investigating I found the link was broken, connection timed out. I tried this several times with various parts of EAC's website and it seems as though they are down altogether. Is anyone still able to play Paladins without the EAC connection?

Got the exact same thing. And I was just playing a few minutes prior to trying to log back in. I verified the files and they are fine. Please help

Thinking back, I think this is why I quit the game the first time. Last time, I couldn't get it to work for weeks.

UPDATE: I submitted a support ticket with screenshots regarding this issue directly to Hi-Rez, hopefully they will be able to reach out to EAC to get their service running, or patch the launcher to allow players back into the game sometime soon.

Go to this file location.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Paladins\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat
Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup
in the dropdown select paladins
install

This should fix your issue and allow you to play paladins again.

this fix isn't working at the moment, it's not the actual installation that failed, EAC servers are down
