I can’t delete the Hi Rez Studios folder
Oh this is great. FREAKING GREAT! I uninstalled Paladins. And Steam said all things related to Paladins would be deleted. But not everything! Easy Anti Cheat, and some other Paladins folders were still around! I deleted most of them, but there is still one pesky file laying around. It’s the Hi Rex Studios folder in my Program files 86x. I may have spelled that wrong but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Anyway, whenever I try to delete it, it says: File is open or in another folder. Please close the file or whatever. Please help me. I need to remove that folder. And also please make it so everything that comes with the game gets removed.

restart your computer and try to delete
Have you tried restarting the computer or buying another one?

Try Ctrl+Shft+Esc then in Details-Tab close HiPatchService.exe, then try to delete the folder (the folder properties should be unlocked before delething too)

And do it in your Admin acount of Windows

You could just uninstall the hi-rez service instead of just trying to delete the folder.

This worked for me. Clicked "Show Processes from all users" killed the HiPatch process, and then was able to delete the remaining SMITE files and such. Thank you Pyro!
