Did you get it before or after OB67?

You only get them if you got the prime after ob67 while getting it before causes you to get radiant chests. Which give you the returns for the cards and or radiant chests if you opened them or not.

Yeah you're screwed, it's pretty bs.

I had prime way before aswell, same with VIP tiers, so i didn't get extra gold chests for those tiers either, which i would honestly prefer over some radiant chests, you know.

So it was basically "keep playing to get to higher tiers faster" or "don't play to get gold chests" like wtf.

Yeah I bough VIP before update only like a week before it dropped. But now it has confirmed for me I will never spend a single penny on High Res again.

We get gold for it, which is now a useless currency to anyone who has all the champs' so we pretty much get nothing. Terrible value to be honest and really just BS from HR.

So when a company shows me that they don't give a flip about me I just simply stop paying. Seems like a fair trade off to me.

To be fair, you should never just expect to get anything retroactively, you would most likely be told if you do, but yes i find it to be bs aswell.

Yeah, this is correct but nonetheless the feeling which it inspires is one that they intended to trap players who are out of the loop.

They knew the ViP rewards were trash with the x25 radiant chest and continued to sell them long after they had announced they were being removed.

I'm not the kind of guy that always reads patch notes or keeps 100% up to date with all the games I play, I'm very busy person who has a pretty busy(and not the important or well paying kind of busy-more like the slog kind) life right now and come to games for good casual fun to relax. I expect things that are being sold to me to be made aware at checkout if the item I am buying is actually relevant.

I don't like it or even expect dev's to sell what is in fact a partially useless item to me and a week later have a portion be written off.

It's shady af and people can say what they like, but for me the only thing it confirms is I can't trust a company like HiRez with my money so they wont be getting anymore of it.

Well, again, to be fair, the information is out there and very easily accessable. It shouldn't be expected that there's some kind of pop up window saying "hey, this thing is going to be removed next patch, save your stuff now, or get bonus vip points and possibly gold".

The "busy guy" type of stuff doesn't work. Everyone should read patch notes, if they don't, they're the only ones to blame and the company is not in any way responsible.

It is not like they legit took something from you, neither is it the case that radiant chests were useless just cause they were sure to be removed. You got 2500 gold and 160 vip points for each chest you opened without a boost. 3125 gold and 200 vip points with a boost, a lot of chests too.

I just personally would prefer gold chests cause i'd rather get some skins and such.

As for all sale and purchases should have disclaimers and patch notes to read etc...okay sure so you read everything and all information before purchase, even when said information is specifically not hosted on the ourchasing page? Nor in the pop up checkout or store page is a link to all relevant information provided about the future of said purchase.

Also yeah okay as for the being adequately refunded in gold/vip points for the missing chest...if that was true in any way why would 1, you think it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in your own words...if it's fair as you say how can it also be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Please explain this it should be interesting to see an oximoron explained. and 2, if it's a fair return how come that's not what you get for the same price now? You get godl chest instead...? If this was of the same value and it was fair...why not give pre patch purchases vs post patch purchases the same things...you know if it's fair compensation?

Think what you want about this nothing will change the fact that I feel this was as do many others and subsequently the Steam rating has fallen since update and I won't sepnd more money on this game again.

You yourself even think it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Don't defend what is in your own words ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. How can you?

Have you honestly ever seen a game link you some patch notes when trying to purchase something? I certainly haven't. It seems redundant. Everyone knew the chests would be gone, not only cause they mentioned it, but so did a thousand other people on youtube, reddit, steam, their own forums and so on.

You knew it, too, like you said, so your only problem with this situation now, is that you didn't get the gold chests retroactively, right? To which i'm simply saying: Do not expect such a thing in the future ever again. It's only in your best interest, after all.

You know you can dislike something but understand the idea or principles behind it, right? That's an actual thing you can do. It's not like i don't get the point of something just cause i dislike or disagree with it and i was just trying to point out what that was.

No brother I didn't know it at time of purchase is what I said.

No also I don't think you should have patch notes or have to go to reddit or Youtube to find out about a purchase, or part of a purchase being written off in the futrue-that information should be available at checkout or on store page, which it wasn't.

That is pretty dodgy you must admit. It benefits from the ambeguity. Saying nothing will not hurt the sales, saying hey half of this is going to be changed later could have an impact on sales for the for the pre patch ViP and future gold chest sales.

It's very shady and in my opion dishonest. They can keep the gold chest to be fair. even if they gave me 100 free chest I would still feel the same way and regardles I'd like to make it clear I still wouldn't buy from HiRez in the future and if I ever want to buy future Crystals I can do it on Key seller site so it confirms HiRez wont see a penny of the money.

If you didn't know a piece of information told by tons of people on many different places throughout many days, then i don't know what else to tell you.

You don't get what i'm calling bs on it seems. The only thing i find to be bs is the fact that if you had twitch prime aswell as any VIP tier you reached before OB67, you do not get the gold chests retroactively, that people will get that buy prime/reach those tiers now. That's all i called bs on.
