And yes, forget about Combat Medic. Always run Mega Potion.
Only use Pip as a healer with double tank comps, other way it's a waste.
In order to play healer Pip you have to have nerves made of steel, because you can't afford wasting your heal on cauterized teammates and you have to be able to utilize the smallest windows of opportunity. Sometimes you just have to watch your teammate die, patiently waiting for a miniscule gap of opportunity to heal him back, knowing this moment may or may not come.
Generally speaking, healer Pip is a high risk/not so high reward so usually it's just a more raliable option to stick with any other support, so you pick it for fun, not for result.
Nothing wrong with asking questions. That's what forums are for.
2. Because you lose your potential to help your team to deal damage in any way, you either shoot or heal, this is really bad situation to be in.
Everyone who says combat medic is good is delusional.
Of course combat medic may be better when you play certain draft like solo tank Barik, but you shouldn't be playing healer Pip in such matches anyway. If you do you effectively throw.
Also think about with a two tank comp where they can group a bit and effectively rotate shield cool downs. Shield goes up clears caut on both and they get a nice burst heal for 2400hp (3120 with rejuv 3) plus your cooldown gets pretty much reset
Also, don't throw pots at teammates, throw pots in the air above their heads and trigger them aerially. This will help avoid unfortunate collisions with terrain and other obstacles and leave you more room for distance adjustments.
