"She sucks as dmg" Thats why She is one of best champion to carry game with. She has 3 LC from which 2 are one of best in game, giving You huge burst potential vs normal classes and vs tanks.
Relatively low Cd of abilities and with option to skip that CD even faster. Cleary, very bad champion. KAPPA.
How
Her abilities do not complement her ability to do damage. While other heroes have similar set up, her version of abilities feel underwhelming. Combat roll is more versatile, but you do not want to get close with a roll, because of your weapon. Disengage is an ability designed to keep enemies back from her and does very little damage on its own. The only thing which compliments her as a damage dealer is her Q. Yet, you can't spec into her Q for it to be nearly as good as Viktor's damage build. Her talent to enchant Q feels very weak by comparison. Her Exaction is a fine talent, but it doesn't change anything about her playstyle. The only thing which I found to be amazing on her is her Big Game talent, but it is entirely dependent on hitting enemy with your disengage and it is like, one talent out of entire hero.
What I find most problematic is her crossbow. This weapon penalizes hits extremely hard due to how its damage is set up. It also is less effective at long range in addition of being very hard to aim in close quarters battle. With Cassie I always feel like being strangled in Paladin's maps. Most of the maps are often closed, close quarters buildings. There are very few places where you could keep some range between yourself and the enemy. Even when you go through all this trouble, her damage isn't really all that much better. Just take Viktor which is far more versatile and is just as threatening as Cassie.
Her Scout is also nearly useless to me. If I play as damage, I need to be at the back and take more of a supporting role. Her E is more for hunting and flanking the enemies. It also doesn't guarantee you anything as you need to do all the hunting and killing yourself. Every other ultimate gives you instant value while with Scout, value is not guaranteed.
So the same applies to Cassie. She has a distinct playstyle. Her ult shouldn't be used aggressively, it's meant to help your team more than yourself, it's a utility based ult.
She can also hold herself very well on close and long distances with some skill. She seems to be a bit awkward at first, but if you get the hang of it, you can literally erase full hp enemies, no matter what talent you use.
Her Ultimate is pretty strong, as it gives you and your Team a complete Wallhack over time, and you also get a Speed Boost (before the last patch, you even got CC-immunity). And a Wallhack is always a huge advantage in competetive FPS.
Don't judge champions too fast, before learning how to play them. Inform yourself on YouTube or other sites, before making everybody laugh at your post.
