Maybe. I manually deleted the Hi-Rez files I had before, and maybe that's causing the Steam launcher to mess up?
I'll see if that's the case. Gimme a sec.
EDIT: Found the files in the Steam folder, and trying to launch it directly gives me a new error: "Failed to initialize assembly file".
I'm not the biggest computer buff, I'm just wanting to play a game, but this is really throwing me for a loop. I downloaded the repair tool, maybe I can do something with that.
Try to run everything in there, see if this helps.
Edit: run either x86 or x64 depending on your system.
This did the trick: The launcher opened.
Gonna let it update and hope no other problems emerge. I'll update this post if this is the case. Thank you both for your help!
