Paladins and Models
So i'm sure many have noticed that all of the "male" characters all have very differeing models. Yet when you look at the females they are all the exact same thing, Skinny, sharp jaw, Big breasts, and flawless face(tyra has a scar as part of her "hunter" get up but it doesn't really change much of her looks).

I for one want some diversity in the female models, Give us more meat on their bones, make them different races, make em robots. And for the love of all that is holy, Washboards are people too give us some washboard females(id love a cute loli support character with an umbrella honestly)

Voice your opinions and ideas on a new female model.

Ghrok needs a cute female orc, who can bash skulls...*lightbulb* idea for a Front Line there...
Majority of the models (both male and female) are "temp" what I mean by this is they are likely to be subject to change eventually characters like Evie make up for this by having many different skins where characters like Skye are designed like that to fit their personality.

I'm not talking like skins, i'm talkin their base design model, If you remove all of the cosmetic all of the females are the exact same model or nearly the exact same, but when you look at the males you have a turtle, a robot goblin combo, a fox humanoid, an Orc,a Dwarf. Each with all varying sizes and races(not in skin but actual kind). But when you look at the females they are all pretty much identical.

Don't get me wrong I'm agreeing with you my friend.

But I can also say that I know that a lot of these are somewhat temp models with new ideas coming to modify them.

In addition they all don't have the Same face not that I can see anyway and when it comes to female diversity steps are being taken for them to be like the males. (Tyra a badass Russian hunter for example)

I agree we could use more diversity but calling them the same isn't fair either.

I wasn't refering to skin tone or nationality, i was refering to the fact all of the females are human with big breasts.....wheres da washboard love? Now i know people have datamine an apparent Female Melee cat person but thats not 100% likely going to happen.
They are all hitboxes to me. ;)

Yep, would be nice to have true variety in female character design. I don't wanna play "pick your top model of the month" characters, I wanna play tall, tiny, obese, skeletic, muscular, glass-bones, even truly monstrous female characters that don't have anything remotely humanoid in them :(

Overwatch has the same design problem, many games do, for some reason. I guess it's a secret consensus among designers. However, League of Legends for example has been really progressive towards this lately, with stuff like Rek'sai, Illaoi or Kalista.

Not a huge problem for me but they are an eyesore.

Theres no "diversity" in male charcter models unless you mean the inhuman ones they are all buff and in shape (as would be expect of any one doing athletic activites like running around and shooting/fighting)the closest one would be maldamba and thats mostly his clothes.More importantly they are "powerful" which is large part of "attractivness" for men.

We dont need fem roadhog so pepople can complain about how mean it is that they are comical (which is how large male charcters are gen treated or monsterous) nor is it a new idea as large/buff female charcters have been in multi player fps games going back to quake/unreal.

That being said I dont really care one way or the other, if they have a good idea for a charcter more power to them.

Meh.

Let's compare the female character designs to the male designs.

Male characters :
-A tree
-A tiny goblin piloting a robosuit
-A turtle
-A dracon from Wizardry
-A furry
-An orc
-A talking bomb
-The rest are more or less generic.

None of them look alike except for Viktor and Buck with their facial features. Maybe ?

Female characters :
-Every single one is a human top model and they all have more or less the same face. Some of them have pointy ears.

I mean...

I don't know about you guys but I found Tyra has more muscle compared to other females in the game, then Kinessa. Skye and Ying are the only one looks similar, because they are quite skinny and have pointy ears. Evie is a petite, looks none like the other. And Cassie is your generic female model. The only big breast is Cassie in my opinion.

All in all, I really don't care about character models in the game, or in any game. Be it the same, be it diversity, I'll play the game as long as the game is good.

Troll post? kinessa, tyra, ying look, sound very different & seem to have different personalities. I dont know how people come up with they are all the same generic women?

I dont want to have a female pip for the sake of "some supposed equality" when it ends up looking really weird & awful.
Liko Jan 21, 2017 @ 12:18am
Well, I think Mal´dambas snake is female (there u have some diversity)

I still think they made Skye and Ying have a similar model because they belong to the same race (or related races) those pointy ears hint some elfic race.
We dont know the setting or lore to that extent (even if theres gonna be any)
But so far we have a fantasy setting, so we could expect weird stuff, like one of those half snake girls (cant remember the name of those since I played arx fatalis years ago), we could have "female" robot, we could even get what we all want in the future, a female BUCK (just make her have a beard too pls)
