How to counter hackers?

my compe ranks went up and down and up and down. most of that were caused by cheaters or hackers. why people doing that kind of thing? i mean, how can they got satisfaction by hacking instead of doing by their own skills?

anyway, im just wondering if there's a way to counter hackers just let us know and hi-rez should do their best to solve this kinda thing T.T

Well first be certain that the person you're playing against is actually hacking. Having good tracking is one thing, but aimbotting is another. The best sign of an aimbotter is "snapping" during the killcam - their aim quickly flicks to and from targets within a fraction of a second. Perfectly smooth tracking is also a telling sign - when their aiming reticle follows the target's path in a perfectly smooth line, always aiming at the same body part without wavering to the side.

Then, all you can do is outplay them and report afterwards. They typically rely on their aimbot to do well by out DPS'ing the enemy with champions like Viktor, Tyra, and Androxus. Since they rely on the aimbot so much they usually have bad situational awareness, so if you're a damager or flanker you can get the jump on them and kill them before they kill you. They usually have bad game sense as well, paying little heed to their teammates or the objective, so if they never help push mid they'll still lose. If you're the tank or healer, you'll probably have to rely on your flankers to do a decent job dueling the aimbotter, and you can help them if you can see them from the objective. Finally, it's an aimbot, not a health hack, so most champion counters (e.g. Barik counters Androxus, Makoa kills squishies) would still work.

Also check their mouse tracking, if they follow others when they are behind the wall or invisible, take a closer look/awarness at them.

Paladins is in good mood of hackers cos its still in beta and gets updated often which means hacks have to get constantly updated. Most players get just bored of updating their hacks (they cost or you have to visit tons of sites and register).
If devs read this...
Just update your code even if there are no updates with some random line codes (NOP? [asm])
to do "damage".

i met a kinessa in other team and i'm skye she can see me on 300 range and then i told my team that kinessa is cheater they don't believe me and they said report skye because i can't kill her once or to reach her!! is this even possible to let cheaters win the matches and still players don't know ? hi rez should protect the servers from cheaters

lag for your team right be for you win
kicking ppl from game to login with username LOL on it
Alt tabing you out of game every 5 sec
last one might be a bug i suppose

I've got 361 hours and haven't seen a single hacker. So i'ma call BS.
