What is with people who aren't using ultis?

I don't know what is about with this new trend but this is something very recent. Often see players who never push the E button for the entire game. Sometimes ask them after the match why didn't they do it and often I get this answer: I don't know how to use the ulti.
I mean OK this answer below level 5 or maybe 10 is acceptable but after that is not. I kinda wants to ask all my teammate before the start of the match: do you know how the use your ulti, right? But that would make me seem like a contemptuous jerk.

i guess you are a toxic boy well some people think about when to use their ultis so they will not use it instantly when they have it or wont sue it when it does not change anthing they will sue it in the right situation. Mystery solved

people are waiting for the optimal encounters to pop it. but those encounters never happend during the match. thus no ult being used.

Rworqx: Yeah sometimes that happens. Everyone us can commit that mistake. But that still not explain the: "I dont know how the use an ulti"

it s not effective aganist more than 3 player and lasts like 4-5 seconds
you dont have enough time to kill/run.

When I play eg Evie I try and wait for right moment to cast my ulti where there is a group of characters on low health. But if this doesn't happen I sometimes forget about it, it isn't very useful otherwise

There are a lot of ultimates that you can't hear when they are used by your teammates so as to avoid confusion. Like Buck's and Tyra's ult. Hearing them won't necessarily be as useful to you as a Pip ult.

Yep, at lower levels ultimates regularly destroy teams . Against experienced players its harder to get more than 2 kills as most players know how to counter. I used to hold my ultimate for top plays but now i know thats a waste, i use them to save myself or team at critical time or to get the 1st kill & advantage in a team fight..

Even top androxus PrinceDanny used his ultimate just to kill 1 evie.

but there is not a perfect moment to use.
And it becomes useles as you level up

I suffer from this ... but I'm slowly getting better and using my ults as long as someone dies

Sometimes when I'm playing Pip, I save my ultimate for just the right moment, looking for that team/healer tank whipe or teammate ultimate combo that'll never come.

I'm trying to be more liberal with it, I'm just a frugal person in general.
