Viktor is very hard to Master
Read first before you think this is stupid, I know Viktor is the easiest to play well at first but when you play against players that arent noobs & know how to use their champions effectively, Viktor is far from easy, Its very hard to suck with viktor but at the same time its also hard to play him well ,Anyone can play average with him with no problem but after playing most champions a lot & playing him again I couldn't believe that i was having a hard time being good with him. I mean how is this possible?

The reason is that viktor doesnt really shine in any situation,In lot of situations there are better champions that have big advantage over him

Have Big Advantage
-----------------------------------
-At long range Shalin & Kinessa
-Against tanks BombKing & drogoz, Also in 1vs many
-At close range in 1v1, most flankers & front liners; Escpecially Mako & Buck

-Viktor never really has any big advantage, Sure he is versatile But its harder to flank effectively with Viktor than with most flankers, Its hard to be efffective at long range than the sniper champions, Its harder to 1vs many & kill tanks than the Explosive champions, Its harder to escape than a lot of champions. Its a lot harder to capture than frontliners.

Viktor's flexibility comes at a big price, You cannot play him in a certain specific way or two & be effective, With shalin or kinessa if i stay at medium range or shoot players while exposing myself for a very small time ,i get an undeniable advantage, No such thing with viktor. With ruckus or Makoa if i 1v1 i have a huge advantage, No such thing with viktor. You need to outsmart with him, Now i actually have more respect for better Viktor mains out there.

*When you realize that other champions have such cool powerful abilities & you arent just playing against other normal soldiers, Viktor feels weak, He requires more brain & team work to play effectively. Now i am not saying that he needs a buff but he is never a strong champion.

-I am now actually better with Tyra even though i know that she's not noob friendly, how is this possible? her grenande hits instantly & i think its easier to shoot & dodge with her at close range because she doesnt slow down like viktor while using sights & now she's got more health. The hunters mark helps track flankers. The firebomb gives her great anti tank capabilities, no such thing for Viktor.

*So now you probably wouldnt just say "Oh another viktor killed me, what a no skill brainless player", like i used to.

-Keep in mind this is coming from a Pip main, who is also versatile but i dont think pip doesnt shine, He has instant ranged healing which is a specialitiy & he has one of the better escapes,His slow down is very useful for your team. He has AOE damage which is better on the point & his ultimate can be game changing.

Easy to play, hard to master.
If you learn proper grenade throwing, sneaking and escaping then Viktor is OP. I didn't read your post fully since it's too long so..

Viktor doesnt really have an advantage in most siutations, so you need more teamwork & personal skill to play good with him.

To me, it is not because Viktor is hard to master, but he is just overall low / mid tier. When you get used to play Viktor he has nothing special to add anymore, as individual or as a team. He's very direct and straight forward, unlike many other champions where the longer you play the more you learn about them.

With good aim you can be effective with:
-Bombking,Drogoz,Androxus,Evie

With good aim, good awareness & cover usage you can be good with:
-Kinessa,Shalin

Good aim & awareness alone just doesnt make you a much better viktor.

I think skye is similar to viktor, Both can played average by even low skill players. But also hard to play them really well Thats why you rarely see a good skye or viktor at higher levels.

Probably, both Vik & skye need more than just good aim & awareness, they require multiple skills. Maybe they just have low skill ceilings & lower overall individual effectiveness. Or they both have incredibly high skill ceilings that most players arent even close to.

map awareness and a good aim. But I notice his hustle speed is nerfed now, can't even escape Barik or Fernando....
