Why is my ping always high?
my average ping on google is 42ms but since a few weeks when i play paladins my ping is always over 150, sometimes gets like 300+. I am European (Italian) and I setted my server region as Europe.
I can't figure out why i have this problem...

Slow Internet, location of servers

You can try power cycling your router/modem, see if that has any effect.

It could just be that the EU servers are low quality as well

Ping is directly affected by distance between you and the server, along with server load, and connection quality. so in all, could just be a sucky server.

Then again, there could be a few servers for the EU region, so quality on one may not be as good as on another.

etc etc

I have a 3.6Mbps internet connection but when i play it's not fully used, i can see that on my router (and from Windows' task manager)

Your bandwidth has quite literally nothing to do with your ability to connect to a remote server. It also has nothing to do with how your ports are setup on the UDP/TCP end which influence how fast traffic will travel through your router/modem. (This is where a lot of problems occur with connections, and the first place to troubleshoot connection errors. You can google-sensei your way to some troubleshooting guides if you have trouble.)

Also, doing a latency test will only tell you how well you connect to that specific server you are pinging. Google has a LOT of server clusters all over the world, and using it as a reference for a game that may only have a server on the east or west coast tells you almost nothing. If you want an accurate ping test, find the Paladin's server cluster and ping that address. (You'll probably find it online with a little research.)

I usually get 200-250 ping on Europe but after new patch my ping crossed 550-750.
SEA region is trash because my ping is stuck at 350 there.so I have to play on europe

Internet is a complex network, and your traffic traffic travels through routes that depend on whoever manages those switches you go through. This route can often be suboptimal,

Wish they'd switch to AWS or something large that's most likely to have decent routing for most of us.
