Game refuses to work properly

I bought this game about a week ago, and I have yet to get it to run properly. When I launch it, it either a) Launches for VR, meaning the only perspective the couch players can see is the VR player's perspective or b) Launches for couch players, but the Vive player can't see anything. How do I launch the game so both perspectives are displayed properly? Headset is the HTC Vive. EDIT: Potential solution posted below....

Hello reader,

Just to clarify, for anyone who has the game currently or is interested in purchasing; we're supporting Oculus CV1 & DK2 as well as HTC Vive all within this one Steam item. When we launched: the Oculus version running with current runtime was unable to boot. Thanks to a player's report, however, it's been fixed & we're rolling on all these platforms! Thanks very much to everyone who has supported us out of the gate, & I hope you're all enjoying Ruckus Ridge!

What's the name of the app for phone users, searching Ruckus Ridge and foreignvr on the apple app store turn up nothing and the game's website says even less than the steam page. Is it only available on android?

One of the factors in me buying the game was part of your advertisement in using your free controller app to play on a phone, but myself as well as other users here cannot find any hint of this. Can you please send the link or description of how we can download this?...
