Load files bug?

[Space is the Place]

So yesterday I started this game, got into where you posses the vampire and fly to the last floor of the town hall and get the human rights book and the collectible in that room.

All good, decided to stop playing, saved the game and quit. Now I want to go back and my two saves DON´T have the book on the floor (didn´t manage to get it out) neither can I fly high enough to get the collectible now for some reason.

It´s this a usual bug on the game? ´Cause I just saw myself forced to start over and this is the type of thing that, if it happens again, Ima feel really stupid for not having refunded the game.

No, I didn´t. Completed the game and had no other issues, nor did this one repeated.

I´ve had some similar problems with other games, so I think it may have something to do with the steam sync or my own system rather than the game itself.
