today , 20 jan 2025 , i tried to run Armored Warfare as usual , but it showed me this error : "Internal error 0x01: ini file not found at E:\Games\Forza Horizon 5\steam_emu.ini" . i tried reinstalling the game ; same error massage . Armored Warfare is installed in E:\Games\Armored Warfare . all i know is that i backed up the steam_emu.ini file from Forza Horizon 5 , than i played Forza Horizon 5 , than i clicked to play Armored Warfare

Can you please to copy this file to different location, then delete it for both games and check again?

Okay, then try with _Appdata folder. There should be fxlauncher subfolder. Please delete it.

deleted every "armoredwarfare" "armored warfare" "fxlauncher" files and folders from Local Disk C and Local Disk E where the game has been installed other times . still the same error

Then only thing left is to write ticket to support using launcher link.

did you solve it.
happened to me today most steam games same error.

Edit:
my issue was i had a folder called steam in a different steam game and all i did is rename that folder to steam1 then all games worked.
