Best tank of each type for PvE?

I thought I'd get back into the game, I was wondering what the PvE meta is currently and what the best tanks of each type were. I have some progression already, I'll list my higher tier vehicles:

Tier 7 Leopard 2
Tier 6 LAV 600
Tier 5 BMP-2M
Tier 5 M60A3
Tier 6 T-72B
Tier 7 Challenger 1
and Tier 5 AMX-40

What are decent MBT's in the game?

What are the vehicles in general considered the OP ones?

Since there is a BP running with missions for certain classes and tiers, vehicles that perform well may be a bit skewed (I have been playing VDV vehicles for last few days so very limited in choice for instance)

MBTs are solid allround performers, but light tanks with auto cannons can deal much more damage to lightly armored vehicles AND can also rack up impressive amounts of scouting damage.

TDs like the LAV 600 are quite meh in PVE IMO... way to less DPM and no armor - most maps are kind of small so you´re going to get spotted by the AI....

I suppose I'm really asking about all three. I am hoping I researched some great vehicles but if I didn't where would I go in the tech tree to research some very good PvE vehicles that can easily output huge amounts of damage and carry PvE matches.

I found the Challenger to be quite good, however they seemed to have buffed the DPM a while back. I don't remember it having as good as a reload as it does now currently.

Thought PVE was just all autocannons all the time? They turned PVE into a DPM race.......just make the AI rush to one location and blob on top of the same pixel, piling up in a giant mess of pixels as the players just surround them and shoot them to pieces. Pretty boring lol.

Depends on vehicle and player, I have come top with MBT, LT and TD (non autocannon ones)

I try to do more spotting and assist damage - set up all my vehicles for max spotting distance
