Battle Path Pay-To-Play
From my understanding, Battle Path in this game can only be accessed if you pay for it. Unlike every other game with a very similar system like, Battle Pass, in which is free with limited rewards, you have to pay in order to even get standard access which is equivalent to the free version on other games.

My question about this is, why is Battle Path, which is similar to other games, locked behind a pay wall?

Because they have to somehow sneeze the money out from customers. And trust me there are lot of guys from Eastern Europe and Asia that are willing to pay battle bass + 200 euros to get all rewards right away.

If you are just paying the basic battle path, you´re spending 7.50€ for a lot of boosters, crates and probably premium vehicles, IF you are playing the game on a regular basis (3x2 hours a week, for example).

If you are playing this game on a irregular basis, I would not recommend paying for the BP. It´s meant for regular players, I guess.

Don´t forget that in other games the season pass often gives just smaller oder less useful rewards to those who don´t buy the "full" season pass.

Boosters Cost Nothing In Gold 🤔💁‍♂️And They Give Them For Free, From Time To Time 😊

I did one battle path forever ago, got the XM247 and never bother doing anything else

BP is VERY 'grindy' - even with paid access it is just 'grind grind grind' to get anywhere. Fun? Well, that is up to you I guess.
I don't see what kind of 'free' rewards you could get from the battle path that you don't already get from random events or daily login chests.

Battle Paths are only there to extract money from whales so they can get their hands on OP stupid vehicles like Boxer RIWP and BMP-3 Derivatsiya you can't get otherwise.

You also get access to a random shop that rotates 90% low-tier premium vehicles everybody already has and camos worth $50 of battle coins.

Battle path is entirely optional, very grindy, and meant for whales to have something to do for their bot programs and scripts on their OP vehicles.

with other games battle passes like world of tanks you just get some comsetics like 3d camos or bounty equip wich is 1-3% better than standard after upgrading it

in aw a bp can give you 3 new (high tier 8-9-10) premium tanks or the chance of additional older prem tanks via the points shop

provided you are playing the game actively enough to get it for the entry fee, and if not you can skip time invested with money as any other battlepass

ive played many games with battle passes and i like the aw one the most cause its not just useless cosmetics

It does not cost much for the basic BP (around 8 euros)and you can enter using the gold you get for free in game (logging in each day, crates, events, giveaways)

You can get 3 or 4 premium vehicles for that which would cost 30+ euros from the actual BP

You can also get premium vehicles in the crates you earn in the BP (got one premium I did not own and two rentals I did own so sold for gold so far)

You dont have to do much special to progress - apart from choosing certain vehicles from a pool for some of the missions

Otherwise its just playing normally

The BP was introduced to reward those who play the game regularly (as well as bringing in some cash - not everything can be free in a game)

You also get camos, boosts, insignias, premium time, 2 hour 900% coin boosters for playing - personally I like some of the camos and use them, same with the banners (I bought the ability to use banners with gold I got playing the game).

At the moment I would not advise joining the BP unless you wish to drop a lot of real money or have loads of saved gold as it has 16 days left (they have often extended the BP though sometimes by a month or more) - the better reward vehicles are at the higher levels

I'm trying to understand why people even ask that question!
It's up to the provider what they provide for free and what they don't. Nobody is forcing you to pay. And just because someone else might do it, that doesn't give you the right to demand it here too.
To put it another way: Have you ever lent someone money? Let's assume you have lent someone money before. Do I then have the right to demand that you lend ME money on the basis that "you have lent someone else something before too" ???

Of course every player would be happy if there were more or even more for free, but not on the grounds THAT OTHER GAME PROVIDERS DO IT THAT WAY. Such a justification is more than shallow....

Some people want everything for free, never want to support games developers - who need to pay their bills and wages

Those that may allow access to battle paths for free (hmm which ones do) have other ways they make you pay huge amounts of money - either in the battle path or other parts of the game including paywalls

I got to admit that BP is really cheap relative what it can offer to a player. With the battle coins I have bought few skins and camo, 1 high tier premium vehicle and 1 lower tier vehicle, got myself many boosters and some other minor stuff. So paying for the minimal price of BP can give you a lot of stuff from the BP shop and the content it has.
