The launcher HAS to go.

I mean let's be honest here, it's one of the worst game launcher that i've been given to witness, and completelly counter-productive to having your game on steam. Hell, the main reason i stoped playing this game is because you drop multiple gigs updates every so often, and i have to keep you launcher openned on steam to be able to update, instead of just downloading the update through the very efficient steam update structure. On top of all that, your launcher is absolutelly awfull at its job. I've never seen an update verification that f*ckin long, it's unbearable to have to wait HOURS after having downloaded your update (which i count in hours too with a copper connection) for your launcher to complete verification.

So please, please please please please, dump your awfully iterated launcher on the steam version and use the tools at your disposal instead of creating less efficient ones.

FOR F*CK SAKE!
Your launcher is so f*ckin utter sh*t that it crashed in the middle of update verification, when i tried relaunching, i get an error message from steam telling me that it can't find the executable. i open my windows file explorer to check if i have enough space on my hard-drive, AND I DON'T SEE MY MY HARD-DRIVE ANYMORE!

Your launcher is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥' awfull that it crashed my hard disk to the point that my computer woulden't recognize it before i restarted it.

And second time! Again i start the launcher, it starts "updating" (not the download, what comes after) and after a few steps, crashes. When i try to launch the launcher again, "steam disk writting error" i open windows file explorer, and my D hard disk has dissapeared once more!

F*ckin incompetent jackasses... Stop trying to reinvent the wheel by making it square, more competent developers than you have already made better updating tools, USE THEM!

After several hard drive crashes (including one where my HDD diden't start after a PC restart, that's how bad of an effect your launcher had on my hardware) i managed to force my way through the update. Took me about 6H to get it to work. That's how terrible your launcher is, and that is the point of this post. I'm not asking for troubleshooting, i'm telling you that your launcher is a f*ckin mess that can damage hardware, stop using it on the steam version and start supporting steam updates. You game is great, your launcher is cr*p. I don't know if you hired some drunk intern to do it, but it's a nightmare, and a ton of people are having troubles with it.

Again, no need to reinvent the wheel, especially if you're making it square. Steam update feature works flawlessly, your launcher doesen't. Either start supporting steam updates, or at the very least work on a launcher that isen't so bad that it actualy manages to crash internal hard-drives, something so absolutelly f*cked-up that i've never seen it happen in 20 years of pc gaming... Thank f*ck i had it installed on my second HDD and not on my SSD where my OS runs...

Come on man i'm reading the doc and it's about as simple as handling a github repo, seriously? You're making us use your broken, unoptimized, and dangerous launcher when you could set up steam update support in an afternoon? Why on earth don't you do it, do you have any idea how many players you've lost to your launcher?

Are you sure it wasn't just your hard drive doing crap? it's possible that you encountered a very rare bug that could happen everywhere else. That's what Silentstalker is trying to tell you. Contact the support, that will help you more than saying "the launcher is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ and I don't want to hear more about it"

The only real problem I have with the launcher is that I need to start the game twice in order to get my login bonus. One time to unlock, second time to claim it.

Where do you see me complain about these games' launcher? You could also cite arma III launcher, works fine and steam updates are supported. That's great, this is not the case here.

My hard drive is just fine, it's less than a year old, and i never had any problem with it. it's only when i tried to update with AW launcher that it crashed, several times. The issue isen't my hard-drive, it's the software that made it crash.

As for this launcher itself, i've had countless issues with it, corrupted update files, launcher that crash in the middle of an update or update install, etc... All of which i've experienced multiple times. That's not even counting the fact that it litterally takes hours for this launcher to install the updates it downloads.
And i'm not the only one, go ad look through the forums.
All of these issues can be solved by having steam update support. We get faster download, instant install, no or very little corruption chances, etc... All of which can be setup in quite litteraly a single afternoon. The launcher doesen't even have to dissapear, it's just that the downloads and install will be done through steam, which software is miles ahead of what AW's launcher is using.

But hey, apparently making more broken premium tanks is more of a priority to this studio than having one guy taking a day to ease the life of their playerbase.

You don't need to. The moment you launch the game, minimize the launcher and after a while it should refresh on its own, thus letting you claim the bonus without having to launch it twice. At least that's from my experience.
