[Temporary]My.com and Steam account "merge"

Hi, i found a temporary solution for use steam client (download and updates) with your my.com account.
1) Download the game from steam
2) Download my.com client from my.com website and install it.
3) Open my.com client (not steam version) and on download tab, choose find game
4) Browse into your game folder which should be: \steamapps\common\Armored Warfare\Armored Warfare and click ok. It will verify the game files and you are ready to go.
You can still use steam version, just launch the game through steam and not my.com app.

Two downlods of the same game, I don't think so. I'm not taking my harddrive space away for mdotcom. Hopes this helps other though.

You won't download the game twice because the game path is the same.

Sorry to ruin your party but that guide is not perfect. And what you wrote is not merging. A.K.A. you will always login with your steam account when you click play on steam.

Why you don't understand guys? Whats wrong? I said, you have to launch game from my.com standalone apps, not using steam.

We want full steam features. Besides Steam still uses my.com launcher, so why not both at once?

And any kind of "merge" is not possible as of yet.
A merged steam account with my.com account will also allow you to buy stuff with steam. These guides don't merge both accounts, so don't mislead people.

Sure, but only using steam download for updates? Last time i updated the game it was through my.com launcher. Steam didn't roll out any updates.

I downloaded my client by using steam, so i suppose that updates will be downloaded through steam. If not, my.com launcher still works, at least for me.
And yes, if you wan't use steam client, launch the game using steam, it works for me.

But can you login with your old my.com account if you use steam launch?

Try it, download my.com client and choose steam version path, it will work

Please rename your guide to "Make My.com Launcher detect and run Steam Client version".
As that is what it utterly does!
Anything else in there is misleading!!!
