The Paranormal table

This week, I brought you another long-time Zen member's favorite table! Dolby - stenghtening our tester team for many years now - is a big fan of the Paranormal table. It is a real classic in our collection, which will soon have it's 10 year anniversary.Owners, can you remember when did you get Paranormal? What is your overall opinion on it?

I really enjoy the game. I am sure I got it when It first became available for steam on fx2.

I got Paranormal not long after I bought into FX3...it's a pretty cool table, and I like the theme well enough. What really stands out about it for me though is the soundtrack! Also, the voice acting for the detective is good too.

I really like Paranormal in principle. Unfortunately, the table has too many ways to keep the ball alive and games can last forever! It is one of the few tables I never completed the wizard mode on as there was no reason to. The jackpot values increase indefinitely so on Pinball FX2 I figured out how to completely blow up the score and, in the process, also destroyed the Super Score system .

When I played it for the first time I wasn’t impressed but the more I played the more secrets I unlocked and the more I started to enjoy it :)

I wish i could buy it without paying for bundle that includes two tables i already own.

doesnt it deduct the price of the other 2 tables at checkout

Unfortunately, nope.

Another weird thing is I own excalibur and epic quest from pfx2, and it doesn't credit me with owning the medieval pack, yet it does credit me with having other packs that I had bought the tables seperately (in fx2)

that must of been a temp sale thing as i am sure i have got
table discounts on pack i purchased that had 1 or 2 game i owned
so sorry if that is not working now...

there are 6 packs that wont show as owned on the fx3 store page
if you owned them in fx2 as there were no packs in fx2

and it is a known problem but ingame all fx2 owned games
should be unlocked in Fx3 regardless of what the store page
says.. and you would also have proof of purchase in your
purchase history.

Paranormal is good table but after doing the high score strat i dont feel
the need to play it that much and its a bit like Infinity Gauntlet.. another good
table but there is something about the gameplay that doesnt create a need
to play it more... not a real fan of reverse flippers or upside down tables

Like the iron and steel pack shows i own it, since I have wild west and castle storm. Not sure if that was a bundle in fx2 or not, but I bought it then.

But yea, all my fx2 tables did carry over. Wish I could just go buy it for fx2 and have it carry over now.

Ah well it's no big deal. Maybe if they do a 75% off holiday deal, i can justify buying the sci-fi pack :)

I know what you mean though, i have had other bundles discount since i owned part of them.

Iron & Steel was an FX2 pack so no issues there. FX2's solo tables were bundled during the FX3 migration, those do not display correctly in the store if owned/partially owned.
