Buying a digital cabinet for FX3?
Where can you buy a digital cabinet for FX3 or other games/engines (Future Pinball etc.)? No DIY stuff but something you buy and you can play it right away (after delivery of course).

Pinball FX3 is great. I either play on my computer screen (24 inch) or on my 48 inch TV. But portrait mode would be so much better! Rotating my 24 inch screen works, but everything is too smalll...rotating the TV is not possible technically...I don't need a 24 inch cabinet but it should be the size of a real pinball machine (if possible).

Any ideas?

There are a few options that you can go with. If you don't mind shelling out the money for it, there are quite a few companies that will get you a high end cabinet that will have everything you could ever want - but you're going to pay a pretty penny for it (generally $3-4 thousand dollars).

At the other end, you have the Arcade1Up cabinets that are about 3/4 scale and come with about a dozen Pinball FX tables of a particular theme built in. I believe there's a Star Wars one, a Marvel one, and a Williams/Bally one. They're moderately priced (about $500 per table), and give you most of what you'd want, but aren't really expandable in any meaningful way.

Finally, the one that I'd recommend (particularly if you have a spare PC to run Pinball FX on) is the AtGames Pinball Legends table. It's a bit more expensive than the Arcade1Up cabinets, and is currently only available as part of a bundle with a $200 bundle of Zaccaria tables (which are a good value, especially if you want to experience older pinball table designs that most companies tend to ignore), but it has everything that you'd want from a high end cabinet (built in solinoids, accelerometers to detect when you bump the table, and a fully functional plunger), can easily be expanded with additional tables as time goes on, and with the OTG setup, allows you to easily connect a computer and play your Pinball FX (or other companies') tables through the cabinet with minimal effort. It's still a 3/4 cabinet, but it's more than enough to get a fun play experience, and a great entry point to the world of virtual pinball (this will run you 750 for the bundle, or ~$1000 total to get everything you'll need to connect a PC to run other pinball programs through - though you will need a PC ready to hook into it if you want to do that, which if you don't have a spare already can run you a few hundred extra - or you can just enjoy the ~150 tables that you get with the bundle, which should last you a while anyways).

No solenoids in a AT Games Legends Pinball machine. Just exciters. But otherwise I agree it's a decent value.

Thank you!

But it is smaller than a normal table, isn't it?

Thank you! I prefer the actual size of a real machine though.

So the AtGames machine is just a screen with controller? You connect your computer to it and there's no computer in the AtGames machine?

What I find strange is that the backglass shows "Legends Pinball"...and the Jurassic Park screen is up high on a different screen and too small...

Thanks! I have a ton of Pinball Arcade tables (I don't like them and stopped playing because of bad UI and mediocre graphics), but I own all FX3 tables. I buy them at launch as I love FX. :)
