Unable to reposition DMD or Backglass
I activated Cabinet mode and I have a pack of backglass images downloaded from github placed in the proper location. However in game turning DMD/Backglass repositioning on does not let me change the location values in any way.

I have 2 monitors plugged in, my primary monitor is Monitor 1 in portrait mode (A 42" tv) and my secondary (27") monitor is monitor 2 in landscape mode where the backglass goes. I'm at my wits end as to why I can't get this working.

I've tried removing read only from all the files in the pinball fx3 folder, I've tried running Pinball FX3 as administrator, nothing's working those numbers just stay at 0 and I can't change them by any means.

plz send help I need an adult.

You should be able to change size and position so its strange if you cant. I would recommend mailing support. Did you look at the instructions on their website?

I've read and re-read those instructions so I may need to contact support. I've googled to the ends of the earth and found nothing relating to my particular issue which is why I finally made a post.

If your backgklass monitor is above the playfield monitor in the windows setup then maybe the vertical location is a negative number in the cabinet setup. Mine is -1844. I set that in the cabinet settings which is the button at the top of the fx3 start screen. My dot matrix is also a negative number. It took a while to plug in values until I found where the images landed. Not being able to set these is weird. Not sure why it is only zero. Do you have backglass repositioning on and DMD positioning on?

The readonly and run as admin is not necessary.

Also if your second monitor is to the right in windows settings then look at case two in the above link from Gabura's post. My monitors are set in windows stacked vertical which is why my math is different. My horizontal is zero for the backglass because I have the left sides lined up in windows settings. I prefer this to get the mouse to travel up the monitors more predictably. This makes my vertical negative by the approximate size of the playfield monitor. Not sure why it's not -1920 but after experimenting with positioning I came to -1844. Maybe the DMD monitor between them janks the math?

I cannot get any of the position numbers to change from 0. It's not a problem of figuring out where they are, it's that I can't move them at all.

need to backspace the 0 , the cursor isnt showing, iirc.

Archov, I have the same problem with not being able to edit the position values for my DMD and backglass in FX3. These are stuck on 0 and can't seem to find any relevant posts other than yours. Were you able to find a fix for this? I'm going to send a support request today as well.
