Sorcerer's Lair does have a third flipper, but it's in a spot where it kind of makes sense I guess... Ghost Rider has 2 extra flippers that I guess I really didn't use when I played the table last night.
I just wonder why this game doesn't have one table that is just a simple, basic pinball... with 2 flippers and without all the extra "crap" (all the extra graphical touches).
The designer of Sorcerer's Lair table only designed one other table.... the Captain America table, which is perhaps the strangest table I've played yet... because it has six different balls for six different superheroes, and you select different balls at different times of the game (for what purpose, I still haven't figured out).
So he designed a pretty easy, basic, simple table... and then a very complex table also. I was hoping if the guy made one basic table, perhaps he made more of them... but nope.
On fx2 I would have recommended Super league football ,, but it's not available so, uhm.... not sure.
I'll guess I'll just recommend get better at pinball, so you can find some of the tables easier ;)
Git God!, basically.
a link to table guides - http://blog.zenstudios.com/?page_id=637 - knowing what to do on a table will certainly help .
here is a link showing different flipper skills https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_7TQ6wRZdw&list=PL-WQLGFMr97DnxeE1Rmi-wAwa-Vm7D-7i quite good.
I would recommend you start to practice the "dead flip" , letting the ball bounce off the flipper without flipping. It's the easiest skill there is, but learning when to trust it to bounce is surpricingly hard. But when you do get the hang of it, you can let the ball bounce off the flipper to the other side and trap it, letting you make an aimed shot.
Also get familiar with nudging the table, if a ball is on its way into the outlane, you can quite often save it by nudging a post or wall into the ball to make it bounce out of the "danger zone"
There is also the "Slap save" - when a ball is going straight down the middle, if you flip and nudge at the same time, you can make the flipper just about reach the ball and hit it.
And "nudge passing" , you let the ball run down the flipper, and nudge upwards,(no flipping) to make the ball jump over to the other side.
If you practice and learn just one of those skills, I will guarantie Double your Scores, or you get your imaginary virtual credits back ;)
Good luck
The Aliens table is in my opinion similar in style but I think it is harder to play in overall.
Wild West Rampage
Family Guy - for me the easiest
Castle Storm
Thor - it is not very simple but very clear what you have to do
Sorcerers Lair
Indeed, you are correct, I mixed them up. So I played Captain America table, to see what it was like, and yes, the person who created both Sorcerer's Lair and Captain America tables did not go overboard with "extra stuff". Each table only has 1 extra flipper, for example.
Yes, that's the correct terminology for what I am asking for here - "easy to understand" tables.
I know there are Table Guides, but I'm looking for tables that don't need a guide. I'm looking for a pinball table that is so easy to understand and play that I don't need to read a book on how to do it. LOL
I know I have a simplistic mindset, I'm not expecting the game to be "dumbed down" just so I can handle it. LOL But I think there should be an "easy" table since there's 69 tables in total. I guess Sorcerer's Lair is that table then... by consensus vote here... so thanks for all the advice, the help is much appreciated.
It's kind of nice when I accidentally activate something, but it doesn't last long anyway since I have no f*ing clue what I'm expected to do. Especially when there aren't even flippers anymore :-) It's certainly easier when it just stays on the main table, although it's impossible to hit all the stuff that flashes or pops up anyway. But, it's a change, and it's fancy.
Sometimes a bit too fancy which makes it difficult to find the ball. But then, the ball will always find the exit by itself, so you won't have to buy a replacement.
So there's basically two ways to approach this: start it up, play for a few minutes, and quit again. It's a nice, CG-based pinball game that's less boring, less expensive and more varied than a real one. Also, it's at home.
Or, sink a whole lot of time into it to figure out how to do all that video-game stuff, activating and playing those special modes and table variations, and hope the luck-factor is on your side every once in a while.
I totally agree with this and have noticed the exact same things as you have. This is a very good point, and it's basically the way I separated all the tables into two groups as well - "fair" versus "unfair".
Some tables I can press both flippers at once when the ball is going straight down the middle, and the ball won't go thru them. Other tables, if I try this move, the ball DOES fit between the extended flippers. The former table I consider to be "fair" while the latter is "unfair" (to me, and to my play style where I never ever use the "tilt" or "table nudge" feature).
I agree with Nubarique Joe that Sorcerer’s Lair and Mars are easy to both understand and play.
For example "sorcerers lair" (same as "Super league football") - it's a good choice - for practice. Good for beginners. But it's not easiest tables.
So... (IMHO)
For practice:
- "Sorcerers lair".
- "Super league football".
- "Star Wars: The force awakens".
- "Bob's burgers".
- "Fallout".
- "DOOM".
- "Secrets of the deep"
This tables are... well balanced.

Easiest table:
- "Mars" (but it's an... old school tables... a bit minimalistic.. can be a bit bouring for some ppl).
- "Epic quest", you can beat all the task (and the last boss) with minimal skill.
- And "Ms splosion man" (same as "Epic quest" - you can beat all task without problem). But, unfortunately, this table was in FX2... And i dont know when they can brin it in FX3 (BRIN IT BACK!! DEMONS!!! FUNNY-PINK TABLE-WE LIKE IT!! :)).
But the easiest tables doesn't improve your skill. However it's a nice game for fun.

And, in the end, tables which better not touch. Atleast if you're not a "masochistic-freaking- pro"... or just a freak :) (because i dont know who can like such trolling):
- "V12"
- "Star wars: masters of the force"
- "Marvel: Civil war"
- "Tesla"
PS.
+ i dont realy like tables which is nice in main mode but hard in quest\scene mode. Like a "world war hulk". Good table for a combo-shot practice (and you can get a realy high score result if you are good in this)... But shoting endless combo just to get a good score - nah... "I WANT BEAT THE BOSS AND FINISH THE QUEST!!"
