Best Controller for Pinball

I almost exclusively play Pinball on my Win 10 PC. I've been using XBOX 360 and XBOX One controllers. The problem I have is that the spring behind that triggers softens too quickly. It becomes harder and harder to make instantaneous shots the more I use a particular controller. Any suggestions? Wireless preferred but wired OK.

I use my Logitech Gamepad F310 when I play any of my Pinball games, including FX3. As long as I have that bad boy with me, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I also use my Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS 4 when I play in cabinet mode, which, as of late, has been solely for Zaccaria Pinball, but will also be for FX3 when I decide to get a code for that.

Apologies for the delay, yeah very happy to upload and share. I'll have to make some adjustments though as it currently uses my FX3 keyboard binds which aren't default.

no news? i am having problems using xpadder, it detects 2 things at the same time, controller controls + keyboard controlls configured with xpadder

Admittedly forgot, I'll try and get on it this eve. Do you need XPadder, I've purely used Big Picture Mode to match button inputs to keyboard bindings.

That's based upon FX3 using default keyboard controls.

Start = Escape / Pause / Back
Select = Camera
A = Enter / Launch
B= Wizard
LT = Back box
RT = Zen effects
X & LB = Flippers
Y & RB = Nudge

The stick is assigned to the arrow keys and should work in analog or digital mode. I'm slightly torn on the ideal nudge buttons, B/RT might be better than Y/RB depending how your fingers naturally rest.

The controller is not the problem, it depends on how you connected it

Steam controller is the best I've found so far. Have tried Xbox one controller, dualshock 4, nothing compares. Keyboards with cherry red switches are also really good. You can also buy a usb arcade stick kit with the control board and solderless cables, then get some proper leaf switch buttons and attach it to a few pieces of wood for something more authentic.
