Wild West Rampage tips
Do you have tips for WWR? One of Zen's best tables, but so damn difficult because of the right drains...the bandits are horrible too as you hit them and the ball goes down the middle often.

Wait until you play some of the Williams tables, lol (Party Zone is brutal). As for tips i recommend keep playing, you will reach a point when you predict when a ball is gonna drain on the sides and nudge before that. Also you can use the rewind power up.

Thanks! I play in classic mode as I don't like the fancy boosts and power ups.
Ok, 99% of time i only play the normal single player, i like the Zen touches and power-ups.
This mode is not fair. The more often you play a table, the higher your bonus...I don't focus on a single table, but play them all. Someone gets 30 million whereas others get twice as much just because they have grinded a table to the maximum...unbalanced and boring. You can even save a ball from draining with the rewind function. :(

Ok, seems Wild West Rampage relies on mutliball modes just like A New Hope, which is boring. Main missions should reward you with the most points. My previous best was 25 million because I shoot on the fly without thinking where to aim at next. I only shoot at flashing lights...and WWR's missions are hard with bandits forcing the ball down the drain...now I got 61.5 million by completing two missions, but also starting rampage multiball twice or even three times.

All you do is keep shooting the saloon door and start multiball. :( And you are also save then because of the many balls.

A New Hope and Return of the Jedi also have mechanics that can be exploited (multiball or go for the bumpers till the bonus multiplies is maxed out on RotJ).

A

Not really true, the highest scores i set in FX2VR came by clocking the tables atleast 3 times over, high balling the multiplier to x10, and hitting multiple combos to claim extras.

AFAIK they made the table in FX3 easier by lowering the combo amount, making the the multiplier easier to obtain, and making the right drain less intrusive. All of that requires intense on your game concentration in FX2VR still.

My tips for the table would be kick back management, learning the on the fly reaction shots, noting certain bounces on flipper drops and holds, and predictive nudges when it heads toward the right drain from the upper table.

It's my favourite Zen table by far because of the multiple ways and variation it plays, you need to adjust your goals accordingly during a game to master it.
Thanks!
